He married Lydia May in Marylebone, London, England, 15/11/1840. Lydia was born in Berryhorn,Hampshire, England 17/05/1817. Lydia died 18/01/1907 in Auckland, New Zealand, at 89 years of age.

Charles Turk and Lydia May had the following child:

3 i. Eliza Turk was born in Marylebone, London, England 3/01/1851.Eliza died 23/07/1941 in Auckland, New Zealand, at 90 years of age. She married Jesiah Turtleyin Auckland, New Zealand, 17/05/1877. Jesiah was born in Devon, England 20/08/1837. Jesiah was the son of ArthurTurtley and Ann Bowyer. Jesiah died 23/05/1918 in Auckland, New Zealand, at 80 years of age.
